Classroom Rules and Expectations
As a specials team, we have put together a point system. Each time your child enters the classroom, they have the opportunity to receive 5 Music Points.
If the class works together and we receive all 5 points, their class clip on my behavior chart moves up one color. If we do not receive all 5 points, we do not move up a color. In some cases, we may even move down a color. When they reach the top (ideally after 7 or more class periods), we plan the next class together. The idea is the students choose what we do, usually from what we have already done in class. It is a fun reward, plus a bonus reinforcing review day for me. |
